This is the HP Mini 100e, a netbook which looks are fully customizable. There's an option for SUSE Linux as the operating system. It's nice to see something different in operating system options, too bad the other 2 options are windows versions (XP and 7)
Toshiba Android netbook
Looks like the Android netbooks are coming: Toshiba introduced their Dynabook AZ Series which is equipeed with an Android 2.1 OS. Toshiba AC100 The AC100 is a mobile internet device with a 10.1 inch LED screen and "up to 8 hours" of battery life. According to Toshiba, it "combines smartphone functionality with netbook usability".
Android video terminal
Android on desktop video terminals, a great idea especially when they are extendable with apps and widgets. This looks like a very nice video terminal to have on your desktop. I can think of lots of possibilities, for instance installing the openremote home automation app.

If you are looking for a rugged Android phone this may exactly be what you are looking for. This phone was originally build for windows mobile, but nowadays they also ship it with android. And I have to say, it actually looks nice for a rugged phone.

Q7 Linux MID nice but missing most important feature
This is the Q7, a very nice mobile Internet device available running ubuntu or android. It has 1080p HD video playback and that could make it a top gadget. Sadly it's missing one important feature I really think is a no-go for a device like this.
BD remote for android available soon
Sony did a press release about 3D tv's and blue ray players and they anncounced a android BD remote app.I know not everybody is to happy with Sony but this is a nice movement. I would like many more manufacturers to release remote control apps for my favorite device.

2 screen Linux tablet/e-reader to replace textbooks
The Device has 2 reasonable sized screens in a clam shell form factor, a smart design for a device which children are thought to be carrying around in their backpacks. The Kno will also feature HD video. I guess I want to go back to school as soon as this is common teaching material. This would make school more fun for me.

This is a very nice project as these guys are actually making the robots communicate with each other and using the accelerometer in another android phone to drive the robot around. (build that into a car ;-)

Geek toy, or serious business? At first when discovering this I thought of it as just another geek toy, but after thinking about it for a while it came to my mind this is actually a very interesting subject. Home automation may seem like something most interesting for lazy people or people with very big houses, but it can actually save lots of time and money.

The most useful android app: Gesture search
I'm just completely loving this android application. I just installed it out of curiosity without expecting to much out of it, but it was love on first sight. It is a really simple tool actually, it just allows for searching contacts, apps, bookmarks and music by gesturing a letter on the screen.
