I ran the command google-chrome in Konsole and then received the infamous error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory message. I have had a lot of fun playing with compiz fusion in Linux. I really like the desktop cube feature especially with the transparency settings in place to where you can see all sides of your desktop cube. Unfortunately there is a problem and that is with the desktop icons.

The HP Deskjet D2680 is very easy to install in Linux. First I installed hplip and then I installed hplip-gui. After that it was as simple as plugging the printer in and then opening the HP device manager.

Recently we acquired a Sony Cybershot n50 I hooked this camera up to my Linux system and it picked it right up as Linux does with many Digital Camera’s and the world was good. So I fired up wine-doors and put the disk in and gave it a try inside Linux.
