So today I have a Mega news for all that people, whose lifes are related with video editing. Today, literaly in few hours, an Open Source professional non-linear video editor LightWorks will be released.

Today We’ve received a letter from EditShare subscription. In this letter we’ve found that Lightworks is going to be released very soon, and we want to share these good news with you. Lightworks is a professional Non-linear video editing tool. First version of it was published in 1989, has since worked hard to compete with Apple products. British company, the developer has repeatedly resold, and ultimately purchased by EditShare last year.

Literally several hours ago on the getsatisfaction.com appeared the commentary from the Adobe’s employee Care Burgess, that gave hope that the situation with CS on Linux could change.
