Before I get into this review, you should know that in addition to GNOME 3.8, you can also run GNOME Classic by switching the session at the login screen. As I started using GNOME 3.8, I remembered how much I loathe it. It is probably the single worst desktop environment available for Linux right now. It’s so bad that it makes me long for Unity.
