Sometimes I get frustrated with Linux, this happens mainly while installing. Installing is often one of the most frustrating experiences with Linux. I happen to have a Asus u6s for my job, I'm very very pleased with this laptop. It's a very nice portable notebook and in the European version there's a build in hsdpa wireless device. It's fast,stable,small,light weight and it looks very nice (just a little bit overdone with the leather covering). There's just one small problem with it:

gaming theory I have thought for some time that having games on windows was what kept me from using Linux. I've been a gamer for a good part of my life and it was one of the reasons i didn't know what to do with Linux. I had a console (still do, and a PSP for that matter) but the greatest games were made for PC's. Microsoft has a strategy aimed at converting Linux/Unix users to windows, this is obvious because they are creating the tools and extensions to windows that resemble Linux. powershell I had a good laugh when I met windows powershell for the first time, it's really great. You're used to Linux command line and you always type the wrong commands in windows, and suddenly your commands start working. It was really surprising the first time this happened.

I've been a Linux user for some years now, and I've decided to start documenting the process I went trough.
