Linux has better Windows compatibility than Vista
I have been using Vista for well over a year now (since Beta 1). Of course Vista is slow, its bloated (over 10x the size of XP), aero kills system performance (even though this should be done on the video card), networking is pathetically slow, etc etc. We all know Vista sucks.

Wine 0.9.49 Benchmarks
I now have my new box up and running and thought I would post some benchmark results that I've run. All of the 3DMark Benchmarks were run in window mode at 1024x768x32 unless other wise stated.
Wine with Safedisc and GLSL support
As of Wine 0.9.49 Safedisc (copy protection) has had many fixes and most safedisc 2/3/4 games should now work with this and later Wine releases. Another major change is that Wine now enables GLSL (shader model 2.0/3.0) by default when your video drivers support it.
