Awesomium Windowless Web Browser Framework Ported to Linux

Awesomium windowless web framework and engine has been ported to Linux. Awesomium can be used for web page capture, site scrapping, in-app advertising, in-app browsing, web automation, rendering custom in-game web browser and creating HTML UIs for 3D games.Awesomium is a software library that makes it easy to put the web in applications. Whether that means embedded web browsing, rendering pages as images, streaming pages over the net, or manipulating web content live for some other purpose. Awesomium supports latest web standards: HTML5 semantics, JavaScript, and CSS3, as well as Flash and Silverlight plugins and is a branch of Google Chromium. The project is already being used to render UI for upcoming Linux game Overgrowth.

A pre-release for Pitivi Video Editor is now available for users to test. This pre-release includes many bug fixes and new features developed over a span of last 7 months. Probably the most exciting feature is addition of new audio and video effects. If there are no critical issues or regressions found in this build, Pitivi 0.14 will be released on May 31st.

The game features a world populated by other hackers (AI). You will be able to play against them, or join them. Your choices of playing the game, will be virtually unlimited. Each hacker will be controlled by a neural network based Artificial Intelligence. Every level in the game have certain objectives to complete within a pre-defined time limit. To complete the objectives, you will have to go through various servers and hack them using various tools like EMP and DOS attacks. However, each server have different strengths determined by firewall power, CPU power and integrity.

Ubuntu 11.04, is coming up with an entirely new shell for Gnome desktop - Unity, which was default for netbook edition in Ubuntu 10.10 and was based on Mutter.However, Unity has been ported to Compiz from mutter. Classic Gnome Desktop will also be available in Ubuntu 11.04 but will not be default and users can switch to it from login screen.Netbook Edition of Ubuntu has been merged and now there is no 'Ubuntu Desktop Edition' or 'Ubuntu Netbook Edition'. After Sintel open movie project by Blender Foundation, now Sintel The Game is in development for almost a year which is a video game adaptation of the original movie. The game showcased its pre-demo in Blender Game Contest 2010 in January this year and stood at second place.
