The Manjaro Community is proud to present our new Fluxbox Edition. Manjaro-Fluxbox aims to be light, fast and resource friendly, yet at the same time complete and ready to use for all typical everyday office- and multimedia-needs. The applications are easily accessible from the native right click menu with detachable submenus aswell as from the appealing docklike launcher wbar on the side or by easily configurable keyboard shortcuts. This edition features the beautiful and extraordinarily versatile icon-theme AwOken (coloured, white and dark). Install media are available with both init systems Systemd or OpenRC.

The first Beta of Wily (to become 15.10) has now been released! These new beta images provide previews of new technologies present in the community distributions and offer users a way to test the software and report bugs. Screenshot tours of Lubuntu 15.10 Beta 1, Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 Beta 1 and Xubuntu 15.10 Beta 1 are also available.

Scientific Linux 6.7 i386/x86_64. Existing 6x systems should run 'yum clean expire-cache'. Major differences from Scientific Linux 6.6: OpenAFS has been updated to the latest bug-fix release (1.6.14); epel-release-6-8 - this RPM has been updated to the latest upstream release; glusterfs-server - built from the TUV provided sources for the glusterfs client. Possible upgrade problems: sssd-common is no longer multilib compatible. If you are using sssd-common.i686 on x86_64 systems you will be unable to update. Please remove the i686 rpm on your x86_64 systems to resolve this issue.

CrunchBang++ 1.0 is available. CrunchBang++ is an open source and completely free [of cost (#!++ does include several of Debian's non-free packages as well as the non-free repository)] computer operating system, designed as a continuation of the CrunchBang Linux distribution, based on newer Debian 8 (Jessie) packages and built around the minimal and lightweight Openbox window manager. CrunchBang++ is also known as CBPP or #!++ or CrunchBang Plus Plus.

GoBang Linux 2.04.2 is available. Gobang is a light and fast operating system based on Ubuntu repositories. The default environment is built on the Openbox window manager. G.B.L allows you to easily and quickly customize your system to suit your needs. ISO images are not issued regularly and contain alternate installation CDs. The idea to create GoBang OS was born out of the need for rapid, lightweight operating system that aims to provide an alternative look at the OS.The system allows a large amount of software installations, and complete control over the appearance. The GoBang Project aims nature of information and education.

This Q4OS release delivers redesigned 'Setup' utility, the native Q4OS tool, that enables smooth and user friendly installation of external applications. It has been improved to be able to solve dependencies of packages in deeper complexity and automatically install extra useful software without the need of additional user intervention. An integrated message-box now displays installation messages much clearer. Several system bug fixes and under the hood improvements has been closed as usual. All the updates will arrive into repositories in the days to come, automatic unattended upgrades mechanism will take care about to update computers of current users.

Antergos 2015.08.18 has been released. Notable changes include: Cnchi v0.10.1, Fixed issue with selected language on the boot screen. Antergos is a modern, elegant and powerful operating system based on Arch Linux. It started life under the name of Cinnarch, combining the Cinnamon desktop with the Arch Linux distribution, but the project has moved on from its original goals and now offers a choice of several desktops, including GNOME 3 (default), Cinnamon, Razor-qt and Xfce. Antergos also provides its own graphical installation program.

After the success releasing Nyu with a lot of passion, we decided to start creating Koe witch reached the final stage yesterday! Koe is based on Kubuntu 14.04 with vanilla KDE 4.13.3 core libs containing Manga drawing, viewing, Anime playback and as well subtitle programs out-of-the-box. We beg for your patience at booting, the system has no boot-logo (to look more intuitive with the KDE desktop), but positively it ships some customization to fit the way as a complete beautiful operating system made just for you! Note: We may release an update until end year with a correction at the missed installer `quit' message (it does not affect the installation) and application menu mouse hover closing.

With this release we have focused our efforts, bringing you a preview of our upcoming KDE edition featuring Plasma 5.4. Plasma brings many nice touches for our users such as much improved high DPI support, KRunner auto-completion and many new beautiful icons. It also lays the ground for the future with a tech preview of Wayland session available. We're shipping a few new components such as an Audio Volume Plasma Widget, monitor calibration tool and the User Manager tool comes out beta. Audio Volume applet works now directly with PulseAudio, the popular sound server for Linux, to give you full control over volume and output settings in a beautifully designed simple interface. KRunner now remembers your previous searches and automatically completes from the history as you type. The Networks applet is now able to display network traffic graphs. It also supports two new VPN plugins for connecting over SSH or SFTP.

The Manjaro community is proud to present our new LX editions. New features and enhancements. Changes in our LXDE edition: kernel 4.1.x, icons shadow (instead of faenza), google DNS by default. Main applications: pamac, droid fonts, shadow icons, mediteraneannightlight theme midori, hexchat, sylpheed, transmission-gtk smplayer. Alsa, pulseaudio, and pavucontrol installed abiword and qpdfview gedit, synapse, galculator gparted, xsensors, xscreensaver, etc... AUR support.

Robolinux is very pleased and excited to announce its brand new lightning fast Robolinux "Mate Raptor" V8.1 LTS 2020 OS which is based on the rock solid Debian 8 stable source code with the 3.16 Linux kernel. It uses 210 MB less RAM than our Cinnamon version. Custom scripts can be added to the Caja file Manager to speed up your productivity. It has far better graphics quality, boots up and runs much faster than our Debian 7 versions and is also compatible with newer hardware, drivers and most notably the Intel Haswell chipset.

One of the biggest moves we've taken to keep Kali 2.0 up-to-date in a global, continuous manner, is transforming Kali into a rolling distribution. What this means is that we are pulling our packages continuously from Debian Testing (after making sure that all packages are installable) -- essentially upgrading the Kali core system, while allowing us to take advantage of newer Debian packages as they roll out. This move is where our choice in Debian as a base system really pays off -- we get to enjoy the stability of Debian, while still remaining on the cutting edge.

Tails, The Amnesic Incognito Live System, version 1.5, is out. This release fixes numerous security issues and all users must upgrade as soon as possible. New features: Disable access to the local network in the Tor Browser. You should now use the Unsafe Browser to access the local network. Upgrades and changes: Install Tor Browser 5.0 (based on Firefox 38esr). Install a 32-bit GRUB EFI boot loader. Tails should now start on some tablets with Intel Bay Trail processors among others. Let the user know when Tails Installer has rejected a device because it is too small. There are numerous other changes that might not be apparent in the daily operation of a typical user. Technical details of all the changes are listed in the Changelog.

This release is a bigger deal for the Bodhi team than our previous update releases have been in the past. The reason for this is because this release is the first to use the Moksha Desktop which we have forked from E17. Because it is built on the rock solid foundation that E17 provides, even this first release of the Moksha Desktop is stable and is something I feel comfortable using in a production environment.

Naturally, GNOME is getting an upgrade, with Fedora 23 containing a preview of the upcoming GNOME 3.18 release, which is easier to use than ever. There are also many enhancements on the way, such as improvements to Wayland toward making it the default graphical server in a future release; support for ambient backlight drivers for a more responsive display on laptops..........

Slackel Live KDE 4.14.3 includes the latest 3.18.11 kernel and latest updates from Slackware's 'Current' tree. This release is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures with both fitting comfortably within the size of a DVD. Iso images are isohybrid. The 64-bit iso supports booting on UEFI systems. Secure Boot is however not supported.

The GParted team is happy to announce a new stable release of GParted Live (0.23.0-1). This release includes GParted 0.23.0 which permits naming a GPT partition on creation, displaying the serial number in device information panel, and preventing a user interface hang when resizing FAT16/32, HFS and HFS+ file systems. Items of note include: Based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2015/Aug/06); Linux kernel updated to 4.1.3-1. This release of GParted Live has been successfully tested on VirtualBox, VMware, BIOS, UEFI, and physical computers with AMD/ATI, NVidia, and Intel graphics.

Zorin OS 10 Lite is the latest and greatest version of our operating system designed specifically for Linux newcomers using old or low-powered hardware. This release is based on Lubuntu 15.04 and uses the LXDE desktop environment to provide one of the fastest and most feature-packed interfaces for low-spec machines. This new release includes newly updated software and refined visuals as well as new software inclusions for the best lightweight desktop experience.

CentOS Linux 6.7 is derived from source code released by Red Hat, Inc. for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7. All upstream variants have been placed into one combined repository to make it easier for end users. Workstation, server, and minimal installs can all be done from our combined repository.

Adam Conrad has announced the release of an updated version of the Ubuntu distribution and Ubuntu's many community spins. We have expanded our hardware enablement offering since 12.04, and with 14.04.3, this point release contains an updated kernel and X stack for new installations to support new hardware across all our supported architectures, not just x86. As usual, this point release includes many updates, and updated installation media has been provided so that fewer updates will need to be downloaded after installation. These include security updates and corrections for other high-impact bugs, with a focus on maintaining stability and compatibility with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
