This tutorial will show you how to monitor an Ubuntu 16.04 server with Munin and Monit. Munin produces nice graphs about nearly every aspect of your server, whereas Monit checks the availability of services like Apache, MySQL, Postfix and takes the appropriate action such as a restart if it finds a service is not behaving as expected. The Linux Foundation and Dice.com partnered to survey almost 5,000 open source professionals, and this week they unveiled the 2016 Open Source Jobs Report. The 2016 survey includes responses from more than 400 hiring managers and 4,500 open source professionals worldwide.

65 percent of HR managers say open-source hiring will increase more than any other part of their business over the next six months.
