Thanks for the quick look. I tried out Test2 and other than having troubles with my DSL modem which dies if anything related to ipv6 touches it I was pretty impressed. The 2.6 kernel is great. Here are some notes about your quick look.... "Speaking of transition, SELinux is still disabled by default. One would presume that they are having more trouble with it than they originally had planned, and I wonder if it will be ready by the time FC2 comes out." Yeah, I think they are delaying it. I'm almost certain I read that in the test mailing list. "The short answer: I can't see any difference at all (between XFree86 and X.Org's new)." At this point there shouldn't be much of a difference since X.Org is just a fork of the last XFree86 release before the license change that pissed everyone off. |
