This is a huge news item for Opera, because it shows that they are serious about the availability of their software cross-platform. When the Linux version was released after the Windows version, it made the Linux community feel like chopped liver to some degree, especially since the target platform, Windows, is owned by a company that supports very little of Opera's ideals...namely standards. Good job Opera! |
