Obviously paying them is the straight forward solution but we could try other things too. We could try a 'go fund me' or some such to get some kind of funding started for at least the Linux Kernel. Then go from there. Start with the Debian distro and then have each distro assign a person to do documentation or something. Have each project assign someone to documentation etc. My suggestions may seem naive but I am just trying to think of some kind of solutions to this problem that CAN be fixed. What do you think? |
