UPDATE as of 09/11/24 . I am experiencing the issue with "Refreshing databases" in meantime working via yay&&pamac (Add/Remove Programs). ml4w-hyprland-setup should use Paru as AUR Helper in meantime : $ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/paru.git ; $cd paru ; $ makepkg -si ; $ paru -S ml4w-hyprland $ ml4w-hyprland-setup ( is supposed to select paru rather then yay starting installation of Hyprland ) UPDATE as of 15/06/24. At the moment Arch Cosmic maybe smoothly installed via `archinstall --advanced` and SDDM as DM. After rebooting system remote ssh connection allows install just yay: $ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git $ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay-git.git $ cd yay-git $ makepkg -si Next step would be $ yay -S ml4w-hyprland $ ml4w-hyprland-setup ( with yay as AUR Helper ) See also "Arco : 4246 Pacman 7.0 has arrived - what to do?" by Erik Dubois https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DD8d8ciqkFk Issue mentioned in UPDATE as of 09/11/24 is already fixed UPSTREAM. Schema suggested in https://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/345190/index.html was reproduced with SDDM on bare metal. In other words ` yay -S pamac-aur` works fine with upgraded pacman.
