How many years are we talking about before Wayland comes to fruition and is used by 'all' the distros like X is? A few years..like 4 or 5 no? If I'm wrong correct me. I think someone's going to start working on Wayland for BSD sometime before then. |

The internals of X and Wayland are quite foreign to me. There's still the vague impression of some hype common to crypto$ and AI. But for the end-user like me who does not play games, it's as good as X. |
