Missed reference

I think the author missed the reference to GDebi on the command line side of things. It's possible to do just that... download a deb package with wget and then use: sudo gdebi pacakgename.deb to install it. If the dependencies exist in one of the repositories that are setup in the system it will pull them down too just like apt-get does. Pity because it's a valid way of installing .deb packages. |
