6 years, their biggest release ever, and they call it 2.10? that means whatever we expect for a release to be called 3.0 will be very unlikely to happen. come on, have some courage. jump that major version number. or drop the 2, and call it version 10. also a very popular number. No, we're approaching the biggest GIMP release ever: 2.71828182845904523536.... or, if you're prefer, GIMP v.Euler. (Euler's number is the maximum of the Nth root of N.) |

I do see references in their notes relating to future 3.x versions so it looks like a 3.0 is on the roadmap. |
