The best desktop environment for a given user is almost entirely a matter of personal preferences. Trying to rank them as "the best" is an exercise in futility. They could at least qualify it with "in our collective opinion". |

I've always liked IceWM, but it does seem to have some issues with Compton, which I find advantageous to run these days. |
