for commandline sup is better than mutt

i'll skip over the fact that one of the clients listed is actually non-free. but if text based clients are in the running, i must recommend sup as a competition to mutt! it doesn't organize mail into folders but uses tags, and then you can view mails per tag, or in any complex search pattern. you can save your search patterns to easily reopen them and you can have multiple list buffers open at any one time. (that is switching from one list view to another, does not close the older one) i used to run 4 instances of mutt in parallel to keep the most important folders open at once. since switching to sup i can keep open as many as i like in one instance. managing mail has never been easier. sup is so good that i'd maintain it myself if i had to. greetings, eMBee. |
