Does DUO suck up the contact lists ?

I couldn't get clear information to that question from web search. I don't use services like Viber because of that. Does any one have a definite reply ? |

There are more questions than answers right now with this Google Duo app. Google is claiming that all calls are end-to-end encrypted. On the surface this is great news. Wouldn't it be ironic if Google in this case is really interested in the privacy of its users. I'd like to see an independent verification of this encryption claim. One question to ask, could it be that the conversation is end-to-end encrypted but using a key that Google also holds? |
