This Roy Schestowitz article was a riot to read, a really well done April 1 spoof. There are probably many other good April Fools artcles that will be floating around today, so how about it LXers. Let's drop our favorite spoofs in this thread. I'll start it off with these: http://fossbytes.com/microsoft-buys-canonical-kills-ubuntu-l... http://www.everydaylinuxuser.com/2016/04/business-oriented-l... |

Having recently found rec.woodworking (usenet) to help me with redoing my kitchen drawers, I ran across this. Apparently, woodworkers have a sense of humor, too: http://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page.aspx?p=74250 |

"Effective today: Library patrons returning a DVD without rewinding it will be assessed a $2 fine. Be kind. Rewind." |

Blimey, the video at the bottom of the Lee Valley link is hilarious. "Old woman's tooth" :D From the original article, though: > ...except in cases where these charges have already rendered those companies defunct or bankrupt.” That's priceless. |
