I've tried the experimental drivers... Be prepared for major fails if you do. I, as well as significant numbers of others, ended up with black screens. There are basically two ways to recover from this; 1) having backed up and restored your SD card, and 2) hack edit the config file from the boot screen. I ended up utilizing method number 2. On the up side, I gained more knowledge of the config file and how to make the Raspberry Pi 2 go to a full, non over-scanned screen mode on the small TV I use as a monitor. |
