I gave Shotwell a spin once. It decided to reorganize my whole image library into timestamped folders to make sure I wouldn't find anything. And as far as I could tell, modifications to any image were saved to an external database. That was a few years back, and I just remember thinking something in the line of "CR@P!" and moving back to GThumb (which I still use on my Xfce desktop). Has Shotwell gotten usable in the meantime? |
