Just over the last week, there have been these separate 'Learn Linux 101' posts at LXer: - This very one, found at http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/225065/ - 'Learn Linux, 101: Manage disk quotas', found at http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/225014 - 'Learn Linux, 101: Create partitions and filesystems', found at http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/225013 - 'Learn Linux, 101: Maintain the integrity of filesystems', found at http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/225016 And going backwards in time to the end and middle of the Fall season of 2015, there were these pair of updated 'Learn Linux 101' posts: - 'Learn Linux, 101: Customize and use the shell environment', found at http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/223269 - 'Learn Linux, 101: Configure hardware settings', found at http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/221274 Not yet posted at the time of this writing is the direct link to the most recent 'Learn Linux, 101: A roadmap for LPIC-1', found at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/library/l-lpic1-map/index.html As a simplified alternative for each update that rolls out, why not consider posting the single link to the IBM developerWorks 'Learn Linux 101'-series meta site http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library?series_title_by=Learn+Linux+101 as opposed to directing readers to each individually separate 'Learn Linux 101' post ?? A distinct advantage of this simplified alternative is that viewers can get a purview of the entire series of 'Learn Linux 101' pieces at a single glance (the most recent pieces happen to be contained within a single webpage.) Viewers would thus be more likely to easily jump around from one subject to another, depending upon their own interests and relevance. |
