I downloaded it from Sourceforge, and never even had to enter $0.00. So, I really didn't notice a lot of changes from the previous release a year and a half ago. And I still don't like it as much as Mint, and really don't like the "clean desktop". |

I also tried it from sourceforge, its ok. I operate on clean desktop (icon free) principle anyway but quite frankly for usability it still doesn't beat my Linux Mint XFCE desktop and since XFCE just gets better and better, I am not sure it ever will even at the slow pace of XFCE development. Just waiting for the official Mint release of XFCE 4.12 come on guys please hurry it up :) |

Koriel - Agreed. I've been running Xubuntu 15.04 Beta on one of my laptops for the past month, and XFCE 4.12 is fast and responsive on it. The one thing that does annoy me with Mint is the amount of time it takes to get updates - even security updates. Mint developers really need to work on this. |

Agreed. Xfce 4.12 is great. Love it. http://www.microlinux.fr/microlinux/desktop-14.1-64bit/slack... |
