So Ubuntu MATE takes the MATE desktop from Linux Mint and shoehorns it into the latest Ubuntu base. So what!?!? Absolutely NOTHING new to report here. If users want a stable, well polished MATE experience with Ubuntu then they should stick with Mint 17.1 and call it a day. The rest are imitators at best. |
