Google is just trying to establish another walled garden for content users. Most of them seem to be too stupid to know what is going on. I tried a Google tablet and immediately saw their attempted lock-in. Now I have disabled the internet connection and just use it as a convenient reader for things I download using Mint. I just load the files onto a micro-SD card and it works fine. |

I agree, but I fear most 'journalist' and or glorified bloggers such as the one Starry Hope or ZDnet are either on Google's payroll or complete absolute idiots that often swim in that river in Egypt. I tend to think it's probably a bit of both. Not only is ignorance bliss, it's apparently rampant. |
