Some change is actually good, but Gnome 3 and Unity are not. |

Confucius said : "Nothing is constant except change". This means what he said must also change ! I prefer to be pragmatic, I won't change my distro. |

I have been using XFCE since the KDE 4 debacle and I should switch because of some vague notion that XFCE development will soon come to a halt, true that may very well come to pass so when it does thats when I will deal with it until then i'm good thanks.
And even then just because it's no longer developed doesn't mean it will stop working. If they froze it at 4.12 right now, it still works for me and does what I need it to do and probably will for some time down the road. Cheers and happy holidays to all. |

XFCE is considerate enough to leave the general UI paradigm alone, and let the user get stuff done (rather than spend otherwise productive time learning a new UI). LXDE shows a similar courtesy. |
