We constantly have these 'security firms' claiming nasty security flaws in Linux. They almost always are negated by quick responses from kernel developers and distribution vendors. We'll see what happens this time. |

Hmmm, Dubious claims (theory),... No exploits in the wild (maybe a test-case with local privilege escalation only?!),... Likely a patch in as many days as it takes for this thing to spread around as the next Shellshock/Heartbleed,... |
