Right now, the Debian installer has check boxes for "laptop", "ssh server", and such. How about a check box for "init type"? |

Seems the only reasonable thing to do. Don't put off users by forcing them to install systemd and then laboriously uninstall/install an alternative. If they want to stay even slightly credible, it's the only way to go. |

Hmmm... Uninstall systemd, install SysV init. In that order. Then sit back and watch the fireworks. |

The fireworks will get worse as more and more things are built with dependencies on systemd and the the things that it has swallowed up... |
