Michael Crichton was wrong. Looks like James Cameron was the true prophet. Man creates SkyNet. SkyNet becomes self-aware. SkyNet creates Terminators and destroys man. Linux inherits the earth. Now pet your Linux server and beg it for mercy when the time comes. |

The terminator ran Apple II DOS.

But because the hardware of most Apple II's was so hackable I think there is still hope. (As long as they were not Apple //c's that is) BTW... I still have a IIGS that runs perfectly well! |

Perhaps the Macworld editors saw that Apple was now starting copying what Android was already doing so they figured there was no more reason to stay in business. Hard to find enough to report when the only difference between the two is their "style", like whether object corners are rounded or not. (I kid, of course...) |
