This is another big KDE4 Rube Goldberg construct that I hunt down and remove all the pieces, and there are a lot of them. Does it address any real needs? It installs and runs by default, and installs a systray icon. I haven't found a 'don't run at startup' option, so I just yank out everything. |

Me 'n' my kids are in each other's heads way too much of the time as it is. Oh, you mean that KDE4 app? Strange sounding name for them: doesn't have a K anywhere. |

Telepathy provides a framework for applications to use realtime communications with chat networks. Pretty much, what it does is allow for integrated chat much like Ubuntu has done in Unity. It can be a standalone client...but doesn't need to be. So, there are quite a few people that use Telepathy...anyone writing apps that integrate with social networks/chat networks in Plasma on the KDE4 desktop. |
