Yes, it is well reasoned. The keyword is desktop not classic. A large-screen desktop is different in it's interface requirements from a smart-phone or even a tablet. The small-screen devices are content consumption devices. A desktop can be either a content or creation device. Thus it has different and more flexible interface requirements. I thought we had hashed all this through some time ago. Apparently some folks in the media don't think so. I guess they are looking for hits. Give it a rest. |

A good desktop environment is more than just utilitarian. It's a work of art. There is a beauty and a symmetry that each user molds and shapes into something uniquely their own through customization. And only Linux gives you those choices. |
