I'm Canadian, too -- and that applies to CSEC (Communications Security Establishment Canada) in spades. (And also to those sneaky little intelligence agency deals, that evade citizens' legitimate privacy, and the law, by swapping that info between agencies across national borders) |

You don't understand, lqsh. NSA was established specifically to spy on foreigners. And it was established specifically NOT to spy on US citizens. And the outrage (in the US) is that it does not only the former, but also the latter. You want their mandate to be exactly the opposote of what it was meant to do :) |
