More like the Dwarves' ring (er, editor) taken by one of the Nazgul rather than one Editor to Rule Them All. Sublime Text is that d@#$&d *PROPRIETARY* at it$ wor$t and its supposed free/trial version is *NAGWARE* at best. Even if Sublime is fully GPL-compliant, still, someone is just BOUND to put its best features into another F/OSS editor, e.g., geany. Seems to me that vi and Emacs have absolutely nuthin' to worry about!! 2c |
