I have installed FF24 yesterday morning in PCLinuxos before it was available
for Ubuntu
Commit Log for Tue Sep 17 21:17:37 2013 Upgraded the following packages: firefox (23.0.1-1pclos2013) to 24.0-1pclos2013 thunderbird (17.0.8-1pclos2013) to 24.0-1pclos2013 timidity-patch-freepats (20040611-4pclos2010) to 20040611-5pclos2013 And anyway.......distro X beated distro Z with 52 minutes and 14 seconds to FF24 update. Wow...what a news story !!!! |

Same here, except I'm not using packages. The updates come from Mozilla. Thunderbird was finally updated from 17.something to 24.0. |

I'll stick with the ESR releases, thankyouverymuch. A new version every six weeks is more than a bit much. |
