Upgraded the following packages: firefox (23.0.1-1pclos2013) to 24.0-1pclos2013 thunderbird (17.0.8-1pclos2013) to 24.0-1pclos2013 timidity-patch-freepats (20040611-4pclos2010) to 20040611-5pclos2013

And anyway.......distro X beated distro Z with 52 minutes and 14 seconds to FF24 update. Wow...what a news story !!!!

Same here, except I'm not using packages. The updates come from Mozilla. Thunderbird was finally updated from 17.something to 24.0.

The email notification to the Slackware security list is date Sep 17, 13 11:31:44 PM -0700.

It's just typical Ubuntu fluffery.

I'll stick with the ESR releases, thankyouverymuch. A new version every six weeks is more than a bit much.
