Google must obey the laws of the Empire, or the Empire will shut it down. Has it passed the point where the Imperial Senate can be discarded? I don't know. |

Google are just protecting their business model -- trawling for personal data, and packaging it for sale. They just have to keep it cheaper for their customers (including government agencies) to buy from Google rather than collect and decrypt it themselves or buy from someone else. |
