heh heh...... Yeah, like I'm gonna lose sleep if screwbuntu chooses to not support something.

In fact, I'm becoming more than a bit weary of seeing command line help and howto websites/blogs almost universally puking up "sudo apt-get" as a prelude to do anything in a terminal. I've yet to see a single "sudo" in any man page other than man sudo.

Debian used to be great on my G4 back in the Etch / Lenny era ... don't know how it's shaping up nowadays.

Not really, but not everyone reads xkcd, so it might be lost on some readers. I thought they might want the link.

Sad but true. I, for one, don't read it.

Some of the humor is relevant, occasionally even mildly amusing, but I deplore the artwork and refuse to read it on those grounds alone. I grew up on Walt Dizzy, MGM, and Warner Broz animation and hate poor cartooning. It started in the 60s when big city free press rags would print political cartoons by absolutely horrible artists. It seemed the worse the drawing, the more popular the strip. It's only gone down hill from there. Now, we've progressed (?) to stick figures? As Lewis Black would so aptly put it, "Are you fscking kidding me!! Well, if the cartoonist can't bother, neither can i. Besides, he's not that funny.
