Quoting:...3 of my 4 kids run Linux (they hate me for that by the way...)

Now there's a resounding endorsement!

Meanwhile, I find the comment odd. Hopefully, it was meant 'tongue in cheek', but it's difficult to tell online.

My son has been on Linux for 6+ years and wonders why his school's computers are so absurdly slow and unreliable (natch, they run Windows). He also doesn't like getting on his friends' systems, for the same reason of course.

@DrGeoffrey You really couldn't detect the sarcasm? Are you sure your name isn't Dr. Cooper?

The article did little to evangelize Linux and the quote leads one to believe the one kid, who is presumably running Windows, is happy. It was a terrible article, but I expect nothing less from the DarkDuck and his "writers". Sorry, just a little punchy today :)

punchy Silly in a manic sort of way, as in the frame of mind induced by too little sleep and too much caffeine.
