This is one of those cases where they started based on Fedora, I believe. Once they went their own way, it looks like it became too hard to deal with all the plumbing that a big distro like Fedora or Debian takes care of for its downstream derivatives. |

I'd still argue that changing names and distro bases means a new project caitlyn. @Steven I completely understand that. I was surprised when they tried to do everything themselves. There is a reason I rebase Bodhi on a new Ubuntu release every two years. It takes about that much time for it to start becoming difficult to backport things. ~Jeff |
