The prices are ludicrous. Two thousand dollars and ya gotta buy the wifi card extra!? I could build a better desktop box for less than half that price. And at almost 9 lbs, the desktop is where it will spend most of its time. That dual boot option better come with a bottle of Fr Mumm brut and a serving of sterlet caviar. |

Lets see I bought and Acer Intel Core i7 6GB RAM 17" laptop with all the latest stuff Wifi, USB3, Dual graphics Intel/AMD, HDMI yada yada yada for < $900 with additional 5 year warranty just over a year ago it plays Skyrim nicely, true Acer build quality is nothing special but it does the job and if it lasts as long as my last HP laptop 6 years then I will be happy.
Its not dual boot just Win 7 but it does run the linux mint 14 live cd fine with everything working. Would I pay nearly $2000 for this errm nope. In the case of this device I suspect you are paying for that 1920x1080 display spec as those are not cheap plus the build quality looks substantial. Im just wandering who would be the target audience for this? |

Just a 2c comment. It's indeed expensive. But we should not be so critical as they don't have large volume sales as Acer, Dell etc..., but we should at least give them credit for surviving. |
