Agreed completely. Sure, there's always the"because it's there" attitude, but seriously, why bother? Some things simply aren't worth the effort. |

I disagree, in part. If it'll help inform developers and security types on UEFI infrastructure, the effort may pay off in dramatic and unexpected ways (like exposing it as the sham it ultimately is). |
