do seem to be building a great set of touch oriented software, all without compromising the traditional desktop use case. In other words instead of trying to be all things to all devices with a single interface they are building interchangable interfaces to suit the use case. What a novel idea. |

Yes, unfortunately not much attention is being given to it on the Internet. I thing when Vivaldi tablet is released with Plasma Active, it will turn heads. On my KDE desktop 4.9.4, there is an Activity that was created by one of the updates. With one simple click, it brings the Netbook Plasma Interface by default. Another click on a different Activity, it brings the familiar desktop interface. I haven't had time to look into Activities yet, so I am not sure how it is created it, but I will find out. |

How cool is that! Is there a development cycle or release schedule planned for this app to runs on Plasma Active? I see that it runs in win7 and win8. (which considering the reports of low memory resources for Surface makes me wonder how well it would work). We have an accomplished artist in our home she would love this. @tracyanne saw this tidbit http://ruedigergad.com/2012/12/21/plasma-active-for-nexus-7-... That would be the direction we would go to get Krita Sketch working. Edit: Just refreshed the front page on LXer :D there are like three articles about this. ;) |

@ lando, fettoosh released 2 articles to the newswire, they should be published by now http://www.muktware.com/5012/kdes-plama-active-running-nexus... and http://ruedigergad.com/2012/12/21/plasma-active-for-nexus-7-... |

Quoting:Is there a development cycle or release schedule planned for this app to runs on Plasma Active? Actually, Krita Sketch was developed primarily for KDE & KDE Plasma Active. But because of the funding contract, the development is being done on Windows first. See Krita Sketch - Mobile Artistry for more details. |
