Linux binaries on foreign OS

Really don't know, but are there projects that run Linux binaries natively on Windows or Mac OS X ? (cygwin binaries are Windows native). I mean, why spend so much ressources to support OSs that don't give a d@mn for Linux? |

I'm guessing that there are some iOS applications that a lot of Linux users want. Things that link with iPods etc. |
