Not very Linux oriented this story but it is technical in nature. I found it interesting that PC World chose this week to announce that it might not be a good time to buy the latest hi-tech equipment and the article lists various reasons for not doing so. PC World warns about Microsoft's Surface tablet requiring modifications and patches therefore you might want to wait until the new year. Of course this whole article has nothing to do with PC World's nearest high street rival in the UK (Comet) going into administration with the likelihood of heavily discounted stock. |
