Don't you just love it when college textbooks present opinions as if they were facts. It's one thing when a media outlet with an obvious agenda does it. Educated people, at the least, can filter through the known agenda and judge the content accordingly. The mainly young and relatively inexperienced people at universities and colleges are given textbooks as factual information and are expected to regurgitate and extrapolate from the information faithfully. University professors are believed. This is just one exaple of just how insidious academic bias can be. I'll stop there as I am already dangerously close if not actually into TOS violation land. |
