Amazon? Worse than Google.

I remember (it's become very difficult to find with search engines) Roger Ebert's open letter, about when Amazon changed its privacy policy, so he demanded that his personal info be deleted -- and Amazon flatly refused. Various incidents since only demonstrate that mazon still doesn't actually respect their customers' rights. I'd feel safer with Google. Which is a little strange, but it's a funny old world. |

@BernardSwiss: In your list of Android devices, try deleting one that you no longer have/use. Google won't let you. How much more of "you" will Google refuse to delete? No better than Amazon, IMNSHO. |
