Issues with lightspark

My main grumble with lightspark is that it requires pulseaudio. I've got sound configured on my systems with basic ALSA and no pulse/phonon most of the time because that simply works more reliably with my hardware. lightspark also doesn't handle some basic Flash functionality but instead falls back on gnash, so you really need both gnash and lightspark installed. Even if you do all that it really doesn't support the latest Flash functionality and still doesn't work on many sites. Having said all of that lightspark + gnash is the best you can do if you want to avoid Adobe on a Linux system. |

Wow, Caitlyin, that's the shortest comprehensive review (or the most comprehensive nut-shell review) I've seen in a long while! |
