this failure has nothing to do with Free and open source software. show me the non-free system that has 15000 add-on modules and keeps them all working through incompatible API changes. non-free is not an advantage here. if you want commercial support, have you looked at the support options available for drupal and joomla? they do exist! not that API changes are without problems. they are a concern, but with Free and open source software at least i am able to keep maintaining the old version. i have done so before. try that with non-free software. greetings, eMBee. |
