Just wondering. Perhaps it is a look at what the figure looks like in the future... |

It's a portmanteau of "fugue" and "future". Something coming that is recognizable in its similarity, designed to fit well with the original, but clearly not identical. |

I finished a course on Bach and the High Baroque recently, I sure hope it's a fugue. |

Never attribute to creativity that which is clearly a simple typo. future + a slip of the left index finger = fugure |

@ComputerBob, I'd sooner attribute that kind of mistake to Microsoft. Clearly, Windows is a massive typo. |

I fixed the title..sorry about that. |

Awww. Leave it to Scott to spoil the fun. ;-) |

Yeah, Scott, how can we poke fun at something that isn't there? I still remember what a certain Microsoft spell checker did to "Pentium" when those processors first came out. |

Well, my spell-checker still claims "Myhrvold" is properly spelled "Voldemort" (and I'm not sure it's wrong). |

"how can we poke fun at something that isn't there?" I'm certain that _something_ could be invented very, very easily. Chemtrails are destroying my HD! Haarp is interfering with my wifi! IPv6 is a conspiracy! |

For my part I think M$ has a very bright fugure..;-) |

Quoting: Well, my spell-checker still claims "Myhrvold" is properly spelled "Voldemort" That's a fine spell-checker! |

Quoting:That's a fine spell-checker!I agree. It's amazing it fugured that out. |
