Harse but fair. This is one of the lamest articles you have ever linked to. A graph and no discussion.....A complete waste of the link juice involved. Hope there is not more in the future. |

Yes. However, I'm wondering how much this graph represents "Linux" graphics driver bug reports, and how much just "Ubuntu" driver bug reports. There was that recent *****ing about Gome3, etc, and I just don't know enough to evaluate the info presented in that pretty graph (but that relatively recent, steep rise makes me a little suspicious -- reminds me sharply of the classic sayings about statistics). |

Well, the graph is valid, but it's more of a "where" than a "why" representation. And the problem areas seem to be the graphics drivers themselves, but also in xorg itself. |
